Thomas Debarre 6d (France) won the Amsterdam International Go Tournament with a clean slate. He was victorious in all six games, leaving Dominik Boviz 6d (HU), Tanguy Le Calvé 6d (FR), Stanisław Frejlak 5d (PL) and Yaqi Fu 6d (CN) behind in shared second place.  Read more...

After three rounds of severe competition, Ali Jabarin defeated Artem Kachanovskyi, became the 2nd champion of the European Go Grand Slam tournament. The 3rd place came Pavol Lisy, after winning against Mateusz Surma.

European Youth Go Championship was held this week-end (from March 25 to 27, 2016) in Subotica-Palić, the north of Serbia. 130 European children from 17 countries were fighting in three categories: under 12, under 16 and under 20. This big tournament was not only the determination of the next champions, but also a qualification for the World Youth Goe Championship (for U12 and U16) and Globis Cup in Japan (for U20)  Read more...

Artem Kachanovskyi made it to be the 5th EGF Professional and the only one certified by EGF in 2016. Artem won all his 5 games in the 3rd European Professional Qualification.Artem will become 1 dan Professional officially on 1st of April 2016. There will be a small ceremony at the Grand Slam in Berlin at end of April. In 2017, EGF will certify 1 professional again.
