The 30th European Youth Go Championship 2025 took place in the beautiful Museum Center  'Casinoul Bailor" in  Vatra Dornei, Romania, on March 6-8. The event was organised by Asociatia Dorna Go and CSM Dorna.
More than 100 players under 18 and 12 years old came all the way, for a main tournament and a pairgo event! This marked the 30th edition of the champonship, and it will surely be remembered as a milestone in the chronology of these championship: not only was the place, go material, tournament organisation and attention to the players of very high standards, but the level of the championship was also quite high in both categories, which is very good news for the future of European go!




After six intense rounds, the U18 category was won by Olesia Malko from Ukraine, and the U12 category by Bende Barcza from Hungary. Congratulations!
