In Britain these last weeks, we have been inspired by the Olympic torch
relay being carried round the country mostly by ordinary people, many
"unsung heroes" in the area of sport. It is the organisers of Go in Europe
that are our unsung heroes and I would like to thank all off you who have 
supported the EGF over the past year, by answering emails promptly,
providing tournament information, paying fees on time and so on. However
a percentage of the 200 emails that pass through my computer each month
are reminders for some of you to do or pay something. So I would like to
request that, in the Olympic spirit, those of you who are guilty of not
being prompt try to be better in future. 

I hope you find this year's changes to the EGF website make it easier
to use, but as always I invite suggestions for areas not covered or
that can be improved. 

I look forward to serving you as EGF Secretary and Webmaster for another
year, and as an official the WMSG in Lille.
