Tournament system:
The participants are split into two groups of four players (A and B) and a double-elimination system is applied in each group. The group stage is followed by the semi-finals and final.
Game settings:
50 minutes of basic time and 25 seconds of increment for each move (Fischer time). Japanese rules
Prizes:
Places 1 - 4: €1500, €1000, €750, €550; places 5 - 8: €300
