Bonus Tournaments 2018
The Bonus Point tournaments are a series of tournaments where strong amateurs and professionals with a European passport can win points to qualify for the Grand Slam tournaments! We plan to have in a Grand Prix Year up to 8 Bonus C tournaments, 4 to 6 Bonus B, 2 to 3 Bonus A and finally up to 4 Grand Slam tournaments each year. The European Go Congress qualifies as a Bonus A tournament. The bonus points are also used to nominate European players for big international events.
Grand Prix Finale 2018: Olomouc (Czechia), 24th - 27th January 2019
Bonus C: Mannheim (Germany), 27th - 28th October
Bonus B: TIGGRE - Ellie cup (Grenoble), 13th - 14th October
Bonus C: Leksand (Sweden), 25th - 26th August
Bonus A: European Championship, Pisa (Italy), 29th July - 5th August
Bonus C: Pardubice Moyo Open (Czechia), 13th - 15th July
Bonus C: Zagreb (Croatia), 26th - 27th May
Bonus B: Kido Cup, Hamburg, 19th - 21st May
Bonus B: Amsterdam (Netherlands), 10th - 13th May
Grand Slam: Berlin (Germany), 26th - 29th April
Bonus C: Prague (Czechia), 21st - 22nd April
Bonus C: Niš Open Go Tournament (Serbia), 15th - 18th March with the Grand Slam Qualification
Bonus B: Dublin (Ireland), 2nd - 4th March (registration) postponed because of bad weather (no flights to Ireland)
Bonus B: Vatra Dornei (Romania), 10th - 11th February
