The European Women's Go Championship 2025 will take place in Prague, Czechia, on October 4-5 2025. Interested women of all level are invited to participate!

The top players of the championship will qualify for the Go Seigen Cup (China) and the Amateur Senko Cup (Japan).

More specifically, the tournament will take place in the historic Karolinum, the main building of Charles University, located in the heart of Prague’s Old Town.

Class A tournament
5 rounds – Swiss or Modified Swiss system - The referee reserves the right to select the most suitable tournament system based on the number of participants
Time: Fischer time – 45 minutes + 20 seconds per move (per player)
Rules: Japanese, komi 6.5
Guaranteed Total Prize Budget: 400€
