This year, the Chinese Weiqi Association (CWA) invites international participants to take part in the 2025 weiqi pro qualification tournament, held in Hangzhou, China, from July 10 to 20th.
The tournament has several categories (juniors, women, adults), from which several players will be selected as professional players. International players have a second chance to become professional if they reach the semifinals (see regulations e) ), playing play-off together.

EGF 5D+ players who wish to participate can contact the EGF to register for the tournament.

The candidates will be responsible for all their expenses (travel, accommodation, food).
