Dear readers!

A new event is starting this weekend, more precisely on the 2nd of November: The Factorio Speed Go Championship!
This tournament is led by a Czech team composed of Lukas Podpera 7d and Ondrej Kruml 6d, with the sponsorship of Factorio (Michal Kovarik) and the support of the EGF.

The championship sees 16 European top players competing in a fresh competition format: a single-elimination, best-of-five knockout tournament with ever decreasing time settings.
It goes without saying that we expect magic all over the goban, upsets, unexpected tesuji and an absolute excess of fighting. We can guarantee some fun as well as ideas for go improvement (at least, you'll know what not to do...).

The winner will earn the title of Factorio Speed Go Champion, and will also get the much coveted cash prize...!

Games will be played on OGS, every Sunday at 6pm CET, with a live review on the EGF Twitch. You will also find all the content saved on a dedicated Factorio Youtube Channel.

If you calculated, yes, the event will run until February 22nd, hopefully without breaks, for the greatest joy of bored-at-home players every Sunday night.
