The penultimate event in the Czech tournament calendar for 2017, the Czech Women's Championship, took place at the same location as the Go Baron tournament - café Do Větru - in the first weekend of December (2. - 3. 12.). Alžběta Kadlecová 2k (Czech Women's Champion of 2015) become ill and could not attend. So only five women fought for the championship title:

Several matches had unexpected outcomes: the strongest candidate for the title Adriana Tomšů lost to Tereza Kotowski in the second round. Thus she ended for the second time in second place in the women's championship (her first second place was in 2015). The weakest player by rating, Lenka Daňková, defeated Anežka Bukovská. On the other hand, Anežka was able to overcome Tereza Kotowski (Czech Women's Champion of 2014) in the last round, and she also beat Dita Vášová, another player with a higher rating.

The tournament winner of 2017 is Tereza Kotowski. Second place was taken by Adriana Tomšů, and third place went to Anežka Bukovská.

The championship was supported by CAGo and café Do větru.
