The Quzhou Lanke Cup - 2nd Latin American Weiqi Championship Circuit, sponsored by the Chinese Weiqi Association ended with the Venezuelan series on April 18 and 19, this being the last national event of a total of 10 countries that this 2nd Circuit com.

The first three series of the Circuit were held at the end of 2022, which were Brazil in September, Argentina in October and Mexico in November.
Later, at the end of 2023, three other series were carried out: Cuba in October and Colombia and Chile in December.
And in 2024, the series were held in Guatemala in January, Ecuador in March, and the Dominican Republic and Venezuela in April.
It should be noted that for the last series of the Circuit, the president of the Chinese Weiqi Association, Chang Hao 9p, dedicated a few words to close the event. Which can be seen in this video: https://youtu.be/ KBsYfpwhjb4

An average of between 40 and 50 people participated in each of the Circuit series and the spread that each event received was quite wide, being broadcasted in different media such as magazines, television channels and publications on social networks. The high participation in each event was possible given the possibility of financing the players' travel expenses to the venue of these national gatherings.
To define the absolute champion of this second Circuit, an online final will be held between the 10 national champions in OGS on June 1 and 2. You can follow the final on the server directly and through the FIG Twitch channel.
Likewise, the organization of the 3rd Latin American Weiqi Championships Circuit is expected to begin soon.
