The community has just heard the very sad news.
Richard Bozulich, the co-founder of Ishi Press and founder of the Kiseido Publishing Company, publisher of Go World, passed away a few days ago in Japan.

Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Richard Bozulich was part of the Go journey of so many of us, if not all.
Through the books and articles he wrote, translated, or published, many discovered the game or improved their skills.
If you take a look at your Go shelf, you will surely find some of his works - perhaps the must-read book "Lessons in the Fundamentals of Go" by Toshiro Kageyama, published by Ishi press, or one of the many "Get Strong at" Go series, or a copy of an old number of the Go World magazine.

His contribution to the Go world is immense, and will undoubtedly continue to shape the Go of future generations.
