The 31st European Youth Go Championships will start on Wednesday, March 25, welcoming the participants in the heart of the beautiful national park, Plitvice Lakes, in Croatia. The games for the EYGC will start on Thursday morning. It will be followed by the 1st EGF Youth Teams Cup, played on Sunday.



This year, more than 130 participants are expected within three age groups - U12, U16 and U21.
The program is very dense, with many activities and tournament games, in the EYGC, Pair Go and Team Cups, but also most likely hundreds of friendly games, and reviews/lectures by the three teachers who will be there - Lukas Podpera 7d, Ioan Elian Grigoriu 6d and Mirta Medak 3d.

Top boards of the EYGC and Teams Cup will be broadcast online on OGS (EGF account), gogameslive.eu and IZIS servers, and with live commentary (from round 2) by professional players Tanguy Le Calvé 1p and Benjamin Dréan-Guénaïzia 1p.
