The inaugural EGF Go Development Summit, taking place during the 68th European Go Congress in Ankara, is almost here.

Following our previous announcement, the complete schedule, speaker profiles, and presentation abstracts are now available on the official EGC 2026 website's Summit page.

The Summit will bring together academics, educators, federation leaders, and members of the Go community for four afternoons of multidisciplinary discussions exploring the future of Go in Europe.

Rather than following a traditional conference format, each session combines keynote presentations with moderated discussions, encouraging both speakers and participants to exchange ideas and develop practical outcomes for the European Go community.

One of the highlights of this year's programme will be the Open Forum & Brainstorming Session: The Future of Institutional Go, taking place on 30 July. This interactive session invites federation representatives, club organizers, volunteers, and community members to share ideas, discuss challenges, and help shape the future of Go in Europe.
