This event was be held over 6 rounds to determine the 5 player team to represent the European Union team in the SportAccord World Mind Games in Beijing, China, from 8th to 17th December 2011. At least one of the team had to be female to make up the Pair Go team with one male team member. 24 strong European players were invited to take part in the qualifier based on ratings.
