The European Women's Go Championship took place in Saint Petersburg, just after the Russian Go Congress on a Moscow to Saint Petersburg boat (which featured the European Pair Go Championships).
The top three in the tournament was split by tie-break to make Russia's Natalia Kovaleva the winner.
Another Russian, Aigul Nureeva, and 2006 winner, Klara Zaloudkova, were next placed.
