To celebrate 20 years of Pair Go the new Pair Go World Cup was launched in China in 2010.
Two professional pairs from each of China, Japan, Korea and Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) were joined by 8 pairs from the rest of the world. Mexico, USA, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Czechia and Russia all took part, but all lost to the pro pairs in round 1.
Chinese Pairs won the final and also the play-off for third place, both against Korean pairs. The Japanese and Taiwanese pairs went out on the quarter-finals.
Europe's pairs were Jitka Bartova and Jan Hora from Czechia, who lost to Park and Huh of Korea, and Natalia Kovaleva and Dmitrij Surin, who lost to Hsiao and Hsaio of Chinese Taipei by less than 24 points. USA's pair was Jie Li playing with Feng Yun 9p.
