20th KPMC - a flash report (Part One)

The 20th Korean Prime Minister Cup is being held in Taebaek for the second consecutive year. The opening ceremony was very nice, attended by many KBF officials and high representatives of local government, with Lee Sedol, 9p, as a special guests. For the first time in 20 years, the KPMC is including a special "Youth Division" with 28 players who are 15 or younger. In addition, during first two days all participants, including officials, could participate in a new introductory tournament: four rounds of "special" PairGo tournament. Based on experiences from European Go Congress, a lot of additional activities are introduced: game reviews, lectures and simultaneous games with professional players, organized excursions.  Read more...

Mateusz Surma 3p wins the Moyo Open!

The Kagaribi Cup - a European defeat with a happy ending
